I took a break at the Flying J in North Platte NE and ended my driving at the Bosselman in Grand Island. Again, we had breakfast at Grandma Max's restaurant.
I went to bed at 0545 and slept solid until 1630... we've been on the road longer than normal, and it is taking its toll on me. I woke up after Lori had parked at the Iowa 80, touted as the "World's Largest Truck Stop".
We ate & showered there, and I watched the end of "Gangs of New York" in the movie room. I drove out at 2030 & stopped for a break in Goodfield IL, at a rest area on I-74. Illinois has good coffee in their rest area vending machines, and the machines let you use your own mug. Back on the road at 2315, I drove through midnight.
